Bathwater
Bathwater is a short film I wrote and directed. The film asks, “Why do good people stay in relationships that are bad for them?”
Exploring this question with my actors, as well as my key collaborator and DOP, George Harsanyi, was an extremely enlightening and joyful experience.
The story follows a girl through two relationships: her current one and her first love. Working with the child actors who portrayed young Isabella and Michael was absolutely inspiring. Enjoy the short film and thank you for your interest in independent filmmaking.
Cirkul Commercial
This is the director’s cut of an ad I made for Cirkul.
In my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA, we set up a booth at a farmer’s market, offering free samples to anyone who wanted to try Cirkul’s unique water bottle.
I managed a crew of three and led on-camera interviews. The first day, I was nervous. But the volunteers we had were so gracious and charming! My nerves dissipated as we garnered scores of positive reactions.
This project increased my confidence as a director and producer. From start to finish, I was the sole producer, handling the proposal, budget, rentals, and permits. Then, during production, I operated the camera and sound equipment, while also interviewing our volunteers. Finally, I edited and delivered three videos to fit Cirkul’s requirements.
The videos reached over 3.5 million viewers.
